explore, create, grow
Adults and children are getting creative at Moerlina school this year. Parents and friends of the school are offering short arts courses for children (8 to 14 years) and adults (15+).
“We create a supportive, stimulating environment for learning at Moerlina and we are very happy to be welcoming the wider community to share this experience,” said principal Perette Minciullo.
There is plenty to taste on the menu: music and movement, keeping a writer’s journal, ceramic art, traditional drawing skills, shibori fabric dying and more.
“Our tutors include artists, writers, and musicians with teaching experience, academic qualifications and diverse backgrounds.”
Tutors include Moerlina’s own art teacher Candice Composto, writer Anya Seabourne, painter Clare McCarthy, musician Grace Ah-Quee and ceramic artist lily Mercer.
So if you’re looking for something interesting for the weekend for yourself and your tweens or teens, come and get a taste of Arts at Moerlina.
