Moerlina’s Early Learning Years caters for children from Pre-Kindy to Pre-Primary. Our new purpose built Early Learning Centre (ELC) provides spacious, welcoming facilities for the Pre-Kindy and Pre-Primary programs.
Our Early Learners Team focus on providing high quality classroom programs, along with community activities and whole school based activities such as tabloids and camps. Our education programs are designed to meet all State and National teaching and learning standards.
All ELC programs are inclusive and provide for a nurturing balance between academic and social emotional needs for individuals. Emphasis is placed on fostering independence, imagination, creativity and learning through inquiry. Children are encouraged to have a balanced and healthy lifestyle, supported by regular outdoor play sessions. The outdoor environment is is seen as an extension to the classroom, and many learning experiences take place in the Moerlina nature-based playground.
At Moerlina we strongly believe that effective partnerships between the school and our families impacts positively on our student outcomes. In the ELC parents are welcomed into classes and the school to contribute in a variety of ways and to play a vital part in their child’s education.
